The Winship 5th graders will be operating a Lemonade Stand every Friday in June at dismissal time near the side entrance of the school to raise money for the 5th grade End-of-School Trip to Canobie Lake. Lemonade: 50 cents/cup. Snacks: 50 cents/cup. Please send your child in with a dollar to participate each Friday in June. Support our 5th graders and wish them well as they move on to their next school!
We want to hear what you think about your child’s school! BPS offers parents the opportunity to fill out a survey every year. Students and teachers also fill out surveys at school. Please let us know what is good and what needs to be changed or worked on to make your school better. Your feedback is very important. If you would like to participate, please fill out a survey by clicking here.
Doug Bacon of Red Paint Hospitality Group recently donated more than $21,000 to the Winship School following a recent fundraising campaign in his several Brighton-area restaurants. This is the second consecutive year Mr. Bacon has given such a generous donation to the school. Last year, around $15,000 was donated to the Winship School Library for the purchase of new computers and books. This year's grant will be used to fund improvements in the Winship's Makerspace and in classroom libraries and supplies. Thank you, Mr. Bacon and Red Paint Hospitality!
