BPS Welcome Center staff are available to answer all of your questions about school registration over the phone or in-person.

You can register by:

1. Computer - Pre-register online (sis.mybps.org). Schedule an appointment (bostonpublicschools.org/appointment) to complete the process on the phone or in-person.

2. In-person - Stop by one of our four Welcome Centers and work directly with a registration specialist.

Work Permits: For Work Permits, please complete this form. Once completed, a Registration Specialist will contact you within two business days regarding the next steps for your work permit.

	Dorchester 1216 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA 02125 617-635-8015   Hours:  9 AM - 5 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday      12 Noon - 5 PM on Wednesday   Help is available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Cabo Verdean Creole, and Vietnamese.
	East Boston 312 Border Street, Boston, MA 02128 617-635-9597   Hours:  9 AM - 5 PM on Monday and Tuesday and 12 Noon - 5 PM on Wednesday The East Boston Welcome Center is only open on Mondays and Tuesdays.  It is also open on Wednesdays during the month of January.      Help is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese.    Please note that the East Boston Welcome Center, located at the Umana Academy, is closed on all BPS school holidays.
