December 1 Deliverables

This document fulfills our seventh set of commitments related to Transformation Schools. BPS engaged with Afton Partners and UPD Consulting to conduct an equity analysis on funding for transformation schools beginning in September 2022. The submission outlines the results of a funding and expenditure analysis paired with findings from interviews with central office staff and school leaders. Findings and recommendations from this analysis will be incorporated into the ongoing Reimagine School Funding project.  We look forward to hearing from the broader BPS community on these recommendations and plans and incorporating that feedback as we move forward.

• Produce an equity analysis on funding for Transformation Schools compared to non-Transformation Schools of similar size and programming and to all BPS schools, and implement a plan to equitably fund its lowest performing schools starting in FY 24.
