High School Credit Recovery (HSCR) &
Middle School Course Recovery (MSCR) Programs

(HSCR) High School Credit Recovery: Summer Supports to Stay on Track

BPS High School Credit Recovery programs provide students in grades 9-12 with the opportunity to retake courses they need to stay on track for graduation. These programs offer flexible learning options, including in-person and online classes, to help students catch up in a supportive environment. By successfully completing their coursework, students can enter the next school year with confidence and a clear path toward earning their diploma.

(MSCR) Middle School Course Recovery: Catch Up, Keep Up, Move Forward

Boston Public Schools' Middle School Course Recovery programs give students a second chance to stay on track. These programs provide students entering grades 7–8 with the opportunity to recover lost credits, strengthen core skills, and build confidence for the next grade. It's not just about making up the work—it’s about moving forward with support, structure, and success.
