Community Engagement

Programs & Intitiatives

Public Engagement

The Community Engagement team actively promotes genuine engagement of families and community members. Our aim is to establish platforms for BPS to disseminate information and gather input, guaranteeing that the community's perspective influences and shapes BPS decision-making and policies. We facilitate dialogue through structured meetings, forums, focus groups, and surveys. Community Engagement is committed to upholding trust within the communities we serve, demonstrating that we recognize and value their voice.

Community Engagement Advisory Collective (CEAC)

CEAC is the district’s effort to formally enlist and partner with constituent-based organizations and community members to help Boston Public Schools deeply engage all members of our community and every stakeholder group regarding initiatives and policies. It gives the opportunity to network and build trust with community organizations that are in the communities of the families we serve to help BPS understand how to better serve the community .

Outreach

We share upcoming events and community events that we're facilitating as well as events that we are tabling to share out information from BPS to keep the community informed. If you would like to send fliers of upcoming events please email us at communityengagement@bostonpublicschools.org
