The Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA) strives to strengthen the ability of immigrants to fully and equitably participate in economic, civic, social, and cultural life in Boston. MOIA also promotes the recognition and public understanding of the contributions of immigrants to the City. Offers free one-time immigration consultations by phone on the first and third Wednesday of every month from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Due to high demand, you must register for an appointment beforehand. The consultations are limited to advice and information and do not lead to legal representation. |

We strive to equip low-income and underserved immigrants with the resources necessary to attain legal status, secure work authorization, and reunite with their families. By doing so, we aim to facilitate their journey towards long-term stability. We also assist eligible immigrants in becoming U.S. citizens, guiding them throughout the application process and representing those with complex cases. | |
