All employees charged to federal grants must maintain time and effort reporting. Time and effort reporting requirements are noted in 2 CFR 200.430 "Compensation - Personal Services."
BPS has adapted this requirement to fit within the BPS and City needs. In BPS, there are two types of required time and effort records: general semi-annual certifications and detailed monthly reports. The type of record that must be kept is based on the job responsibilities of the individual charged to the grant.
Any individual who works on multiple cost-objectives must submit monthly reports
Any individual who work on one single cost-objective must submit semi-annual reports
