Last week, the Roosevelt 7th graders traveled to Thompson Island on Thursday for a one-night overnight - returning on Friday. Students rode the ferry to the island and were then broken up into 4 groups where they traveled the island taking part in many team building and science exploration activities. The students were very busy during the day, eating in the dining hall, having rec time with their friends, going on a night hike and then sleeping in dorms on the island. The activities continued the next day before returning home on Friday afternoon.
The 8th graders will be traveling to the island this Friday to participate in team building activities including the challenge course and the Alpine Towers.
