Boston, MA—Boston Public Schools (BPS) Office of Engagement was recently honored with four top awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) 2016 Publications and Electronic Media Contest.
The Office of Engagement received three Awards of Excellence for the Kindergarten Registration Guide,Countdown to Kindergarten Website, and the department’s internal e-newsletter, Engagement Update. The department also received an Award of Merit for Family Friendly Schools Initiative in the Branding/Image Package category.
“We are honored to be recognized for the work that we do every day to engage all stakeholders in the education of all BPS students.” said Assistant Superintendent of Engagement for Boston Public Schools, Monica Roberts.
The district was among 965 entries this year and competed with 581 entries in the publications and electronic media categories.
NSPRA’s Publications and Electronic Media Awards recognize outstanding education publications and marketing/informational materials (print and electronic), video/TV/radio programs, social media and websites.
Awarded publications will be available at the 2016 Seminar Exchange Center, July 17-20 in Chicago.
