  • The Winship Welcomes a New Principal

Dear Winship Students and Families, I hope this message finds you well and that you are enjoying a safe and restful summer! My name is Brian Radley and I am honored to have been named the next Principal of the wonderful Winship School! This past Wednesday was my first official day at the Winship School. I just recently wrapped up my responsibilities in Chelsea, where I was an Assistant Principal. I wanted to share how excited, inspired, and humbled I am to begin working with you and your amazing children. I love the Winship School! I had the privilege of working with Mrs. Ford Walker as the Principal Intern in 2019. During that time, I came to love the many people, qualities, and experiences that make the Winship so special. And, I’m eager to keep learning about the community!...

  • Red Paint Hospitality Donates $21,000 to the Winship

Doug Bacon of Red Paint Hospitality Group recently donated more than $21,000 to the Winship School following a recent fundraising campaign in his several Brighton-area restaurants. This is the second consecutive year Mr. Bacon has given such a generous donation to the school. Last year, around $15,000 was donated to the Winship School Library for the purchase of new computers and books. This year's grant will be used to fund improvements in the Winship's Makerspace and in classroom libraries and supplies. Thank you, Mr. Bacon and Red Paint Hospitality!
