BOSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS, 20/20 ONSITE, WARBY PARKER, NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE OF OPTOMETRY REUNITE FOR “VISION FOR BOSTON”
Boston Public Schools, the New England College of Optometry (NECO), Warby Parker and 20/20 Onsite, the leading provider of on-site vision care, are partnering for the third consecutive year to provide free vision screenings, eye exams and eyeglasses to BPS students.

THIRTEEN BOSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS STUDENTS SELECTED AS 2023 POSSE FOUNDATION SCHOLARS, RECEIVING OVER $2.5 MILLION IN SCHOLARSHIPS
Thirteen Boston Public Schools (BPS) students have been awarded four-year, full-tuition merit-based scholarships by the Posse Foundation, totaling $2.5 million. The 13 BPS seniors are among 51 Boston-area students who will be attending Bryn Mawr College, Bucknell University, Centre College, Rutgers University, and Union College.

MAYOR MICHELLE WU ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH NEW ENGLAND CONSERVATORY, SECURING $14.5 MILLION TO EXPAND MUSICAL EDUCATION FOR BOSTON STUDENTS
Mayor Michelle Wu announced a partnership with New England Conservatory to substantially increase access to high-quality music education for children. The initiative, funded by a $14.5 million grant secured by NEC, is a significant expansion of resources to provide young people music education that is instrumental to their academic growth, especially students who don’t typically have access to arts opportunities.

BOSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS, CIC HEALTH HOST VACCINATION CLINIC FOR STUDENTS AT SAMUEL ADAMS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Boston Public Schools and CIC Health hosted a COVID-19 and flu vaccination clinic at the Samuel Adams Elementary School in East Boston. The clinic was one of 100 vaccination events the BPS and CIC Health will host, in collaboration with Boston Public Health Commission, to combat COVID-19 and the flu.
