    Check out Free Fun Fridays, a program of the Highland Street Foundation. Each summer Friday, many of Boston’s best museums will have free admission for all.

    Boston Public Library Programs for Children

    The Boston Public Library has many free science/engineering and art programs for children this summer including rocket-building, live animals, coding, lego clubs, and garden clubs. See the BPL program calendar.

    *Tuesday afternoons throughout the summer:. Kids’ ART Club at the Adams Location (recommended for children ages 7 and up.)

    Boston University Coit Observatory 
    Telescopes, binoculars, and even astronomers are on hand to inspire young scientists to cast their gaze skyward at Boston University’s free weekly Public Open Night. In the spring and summer, the hourlong sessions begin at 8:30. 617-353-2630

    Free performing art school: dance, music, theater, sound and film editing. Free Boston Summer program July 1 - 8th.   
    Boston Museum of Science Astronomy After Hours
    Boston Museum of Science:
    On clear nights, visit the Gilliland Observatory on the roof of the Museum's parking garage, where you can view stars, planets, the Moon, and other astronomical phenomena.
     

    Some of the things you can do here: Use graphic design tools, create 3D models, build your own website, learn programming, design your own video game, make stuff...and more!

    Become a member of the Harvard Ed Portal (FREE!)  to participate in summer program offerings such as Science and Cooking, Bike Mechanics, Soft Robotics, Art Gallery, Art Opportunities and more!

    All Programs take place at the Harvard Ed Portal, 224 Western Ave. in Allston.
