What is the Interactive Rubric?
The Interactive Rubric of Effective Teaching is the Rubric of Effective Teaching embedded with resources and professional development opportunities for Boston Public School educators. The goal of the rubric is to illustrate effective teaching practices and support educators in continuously improving and reflecting on their practice as they work individually, with school leaders, and in professional learning communities. The Interactive Rubric is largely organized by elements of the teacher's rubric with suggested look-fors, examples of practice, and resources. A number of "power" elements also provide reflection questions, suggestions on goals, and examples of high-quality artifacts to help guide you through how best to represent your performance as an educator.
