The Early College Pathways Program gives students a head start on their future by combining hands-on career exploration with college-level learning. High school students can take free courses through Bunker Hill Community College and earn up to 15 transferable college credits while still in high school. 

After taking a 9th-grade exploratory course, students can choose from one of three exciting pathways: Business, Information Technology, or Health. Along the way, they’ll build real-world skills, explore career options, and prepare for success in college and beyond.

Charlestown High School’s Life Skills Cohort supports students with disabilities and multiple handicaps by fostering independence through essential life skills such as communication, daily living, and vocational training. Each student receives a tailored learning plan in a supportive environment.

Charlestown High School offers a Newcomers Program for multilingual learners in grades 9-12, who have recently arrived in the U.S. The program provides social-emotional support, accelerated literacy, and grade-level content. Instruction is primarily in English. Once students build foundational English skills, they transition to an inclusive classroom with English-speaking peers.

Our school offers a variety of opportunities for family engagement including family workshops, information sessions, and cultural celebrations to strengthen our school community. Families are invited to participate in the School Parent Council and other advisory groups where their input helps shape school priorities.
