Every family desires educational success for their child. The Office of Student, Family & Community Advancement (OSFCA) believes that success starts early and engages students, family, staff, partners, and the community in student readiness and achievement. From early education through high school, OSFCA offers programming and initiatives that engage and involve caring citizens in helping all BPS students achieve success in higher education and careers.
Mission
Promotes welcoming environments in BPS, builds capacity for authentic engagement and supports effective partnerships among students, families, schools, and the community to ensure student readiness and achievement from birth to graduation. Boston Public Schools welcome every family and student, actively engaging them in student learning and school improvement.
Who We Serve
OSFCA partners with families, students, staff, and the community to deliver nationally recognized programs and initiatives designed to build and support the capacity for authentic engagement.
