A Chromebook program focused on providing Boston Public School scholars with access to the technology tools and resources necessary for meaningful, equitable, and high-quality learning experiences for both in-person and remote learning environments.
Please reach out to your child's school if they need access to a Chromebook at home for educational purposes. This Chromebook lending program is voluntary and all students are eligible as long as they lack access to a computer at home, are actively enrolled in a BPS school, and adhere to the BPS Acceptable Use Policy.
Affordable Connectivity Program: Up to a $30/month discount on broadband internet services for eligible households. For additional information, call (877)-384-2575 or visit https://acpbenefit.org/.
Comcast Internet Essentials: Low cost broadband internet ($9.95/month). For additional information, visit internetessentials.com.
T-Mobile Project 10Million: A BPS-provided hotspot with 100GB/year of data. Please connect with your child's school if a hotspot is needed at home for remote learning.
Technology loaned out to students belongs to the Boston Public Schools. Please return technology, including charging cables, to your child's school prior to your child's last day. Chromebooks will be disabled after your child’s departure from BPS, rendering it unusable. Technology not returned to BPS significantly affects our ability to support BPS children. Thank you in advance for your efforts in returning technology.
