Q & A About the Student Information System

  • What is the BPS Student Information System?

    Posted by:
The student information system (SIS) is Boston Public School's home to all information about your child or children. No matter what BPS school they attend, you are able to access the SIS for each child through one log in. You can see your enrollment choices, your wait list information, class grades, attendance, and information regarding assessments and conduct.

  • How do I create an account on the SIS?

    Posted by:
In order to create an account, you need an access code. You can request an access code from the school. Email Caroline Cahill, Lee Franty, or request it directly from your child's homeroom teacher. You only need one account to see all your children at all BPS schools. Once you get the access code,  follow the instructions to the right in the quick links to set up the account. You will need a valid email address, preferably one that you use often.

  • What if I have an account but can't remember my login id?

    Posted by:
Your login id is the email account that you used to set up your SIS account. If you can't remember what this account was, you can contact your child's homeroom teacher and they can provide you with this information.  All parent login information will be the email address you originally used to set up the account. If you are not sure if you have an account, you can contact your child's homeroom teacher.
