What is Dual Enrollment?
Dual Enrollment is a program that provides qualified high school students, the opportunity to enhance their education by enrolling early in college courses. You will be able to experience college-level courses, explore career options, and shorten the time required to complete a college degree. You have the opportunity to earn high school and college credit at the same time.

Things to Consider
- Courses are FREE to you but someone is covering the cost
- Grades become a permanent part of your high school and college record
- All students must adhere to the college’s Covid vaccine requirements
- BPS Students have access to several options:
- Cohort classes (BPS students only)
- Mixed group classes
- In-person/on campus
- Synchronous (virtual & meets weekly w/faculty)
- Asynchronous (online & self-directed)
- Hybrid (blend of in-person & online)
- Taking courses at one versus multiple institutions
- Opportunity to practice following a syllabus and collaborating with faculty and peers on a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Good time management and study-skills are key to successful completion of course

Student Eligibility Criteria:

11th & 12th Grade Students can Apply

10th Grade students can enroll in the College & Career Readiness Seminar, which is pass/fail and offers no credit.

A high school transcript is required.
No GPA requirement BUT do use transcript to determine placement for Math and English
Important Dates:
Application Deadline: Application, high school transcript, and COVID-19 Vaccination Information needs to be submitted by Monday, December 12th.

Registration for all students needs to be completed by Friday, January 6th, 2023.

Student Eligibility Criteria:

No GPA requirement

Open to high school students from all grade levels. While the courses have been chosen with 11th and 12th graders in mind, Cambridge College does not place any grade-level requirements for participation.

No recommendation is required. However, they do recommend that students speak to their guidance counselors.
Important Dates: Students can register up to the first week of classes for the Zoom/Remote delivered courses, or up to the first week of each session for the asynchronous options.
