Our mission is to offer innovative services and solutions by providing infrastructure, leadership & support enabling all students to learn, teachers to teach and families to engage beyond the digital divide.
Who We Are
The Office of Instructional and Information Technology (BPSTechnology) is comprised of five major functional areas to support the needs of our schools:
Infrastructure - The Infrastructure Team provides 24/7 network connectivity and data services for the largest K-12 network infrastructure in New England.
Applications - The Applications Team supports a variety of cloud and in-house data systems and operations.
Service Desk & Technicians - The Service Desk Team consists of our Help Desk at the Bolling Building (accessible via phone or walk-up) and school technicians who operate out of the Campbell Resource Center and provide in-school technical support.
Digital Learning - The Digital Learning Team works with students, teachers, school leaders, families, and central office staff to identify and support goals for using technology for teaching and learning.
Technology Business Operations - The Technology Business Operations Team supports our schools with technology purchasing and manages districtwide technology initiatives such as our Access4All program.
