    Verizon Innovative Learning Schools (VILS)

Verizon, through their partnership with Digital Promise, is working with select middle schools across America to provide teachers and students with a tablet and a two-year data plan. Beginning in school year 2017-18, three middle schools in the Boston Public Schools were selected to participate in this initiative. As part of this three-year initiative, each school has a student-led Tech Team and dedicated digital learning coach in the building. All teachers receive professional learning on digital tools and hands-on coaching support from Digital Promise, EdTechTeacher, and their school-based digital learning coaches.
