• The Roosevelt welcomes all learners. Our school community works hard to develop inclusive practices at all grade levels and in all content areas. In doing so, we are driven by the core principle: “Fair means everyone gets what they need.” This means that learning objectives, instructional materials and space, academic and behavioral supports, and assessment of learning may look different for different students. We aim to give all students meaningful access to core curriculum and guide all students toward their personal bests. Whenever possible, we will use the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to make our learning environment supportive of all learners.
