    Welcome to West Roxbury Academy. Our mission is to prepare students for college and career readiness in the business, media and visual graphic arts fields. We believe establishing relationships with parents, families and community partners are a critical component in assisting us to meet our mission.  We want to establish robust partnerships with you for the common goal of student development and success. We value you as a partner and welcome you to take an active role in the process that will produce successful college to career experiences for WRA students.

    Goals:

    All students are prepared for a full range of postsecondary options through comprehensive, motivational, and experiential college preparatory opportunities.Within this broad goal are several more specific objectives. In order to achieve this goal it is imperative that:

     

    • School leadership is committed to building a college culture "College Talk" must be active and visible.
    • All school personnel provide a consistent message to students that support their quest for a college and career preparatory K-12 experience.
    • Teachers, counselors, parents and partners are all committed to preparing students for college and careers.
