Family/Parent Feedback on Health Education Curriculum

Boston Public Schools is undergoing a review of Health Education (HE) curriculum and resources. The goal of this review is to select a pedagogically sound, evidence and standards based K-12 HE curriculum that is medically accurate, age and developmentally appropriate, culturally and linguistically sustaining and aligned with the district’s priorities and vision for Health Education.

BPS is committed to continuous improvement. High quality responsive teaching materials are a foundational component of that improvement. The newly adopted HE curriculum strives to enhance student learning, engagement, health-promoting skills and healthy outcomes. Family feedback is highly valued, appreciated and absolutely essential to the selection process

An overview of each of the three Health Ed Curriculum under consideration can be found in this video. After reviewing the video, please respond to the survey in your preferred language linked below to provide your input on the Health Education curriculum selection.

On behalf of the Office of Health and Wellness, we would greatly appreciate hearing from you!
