The Office of Leadership Development cultivates, recruits, and supports exceptional school leaders across Boston Public Schools. In partnership with the Office of Human Resources and Central Office, we manage the district’s leadership pipelines, oversee an equity-centered hiring and selection process, and design high-quality professional learning for principals, heads of school, assistant principals, and emerging leaders. Through coaching, induction, and close collaboration with schools and central office teams, we work to ensure every BPS school is led by skilled, diverse, and student-centered leaders who advance equity and excellence for all students.
