Extended Learning Time at Boston Arts Academy

The Extended Learning Time grant at the Boston Arts Academy allows students participate in a longer school day, providing 300 additional hours per year. BAA’s arts curriculum – an essential component of the school’s core curriculum – provides students with outstanding opportunities in the visual and performing arts. Each student majors in either dance, instrumental or vocal music, theatre, or visual arts. Students spend at least 2.5 hours per day in arts classes, engaged in a sequential and comprehensive course of study. ELT time is used for arts classes and rehearsal time.
