Cougar News

The Cougar News team is led by students in high school Digital Media classes, where they are introduced to different aspects of digital media through hands-on projects and real world activities to create a school news production. Roles for students in the Cougar News crew include reporters who news stories through ASL, camera operators using DSLR cameras, video editors who use iMovie on iMac computers, and a media crew that creates graphics. Students will learn the basics of digital camera usage, edit and produce videos to share digital stories, and collaborate with a news crew to create a production plan.

News stories are shared with the school community on the jumbotrons throughout the building during lunch blocks, as well as posted on our student website.
