    Interim Chief of Operations

    Currently serving as the Chief of Operations at Boston Public Schools, Teresa Neff Webster’s strategic leadership ensures the alignment of operations with the district's goals, fostering accountability and coherence. Teresa previously held the role of Deputy Chief of Operations at BPS, demonstrating expertise in overseeing critical operations departments across the district.

    Teresa’s career trajectory features impactful roles at Achievement First, where she served as a Director of School Operations, Regional Director of Operations and later as Senior Director of Operational Learning & Development. In these capacities, she played a pivotal role as a school leader and then coaching regional directors, optimizing hiring processes, and designing comprehensive operational learning and strategies. Her contributions significantly enhanced operational efficiency across schools spanning three states.

    Before transitioning into operational leadership, Teresa excelled in teaching roles, including serving as a lead teacher at Abercorn International School in London, a teacher in Chicago Public Schools as well as teaching in the surrounding Chicagoland area. These early experiences solidified her commitment to fostering positive learning environments.

    With a Master of Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Social Work from Arizona State University, Teresa seamlessly combines her educational experience with a strategic vision in order to drive positive change for the students of Boston.
