The BPS Equity Warrior Series (EWS) features women who have made significant contributions to Boston, the nation, and the world, and to the advancement of women and society overall. Each day in March, EWS will bring attention to a quote from a current or historical figure who has contributed to and laid the foundation for disrupting and dismantling sexism, patriarchy and misogyny while simultaneously developing and contributing to a rich tapestry of arts, scholarship, politics, and social justice movements. EWS seeks to build a bridge between the tireless efforts of women in our society- community organizers, elders and ancestors, and those who understand the intersectionality of being a woman as well as being a part of one or more historically disenfranchised communities- to our present-day responsibility to be equity warrior
