Diego Mehta, Student Representative

Diego Mehta is proud to serve as the student representative to the Boston School Committee for School Year 2023-2024. A senior at the Boston Arts Academy (BAA) majoring in Music, Diego is active in Squash Busters and the Boston Student Advisory Council (BSAC). He enjoys advocating for his fellow students and giving voice to their opinions and ensuring that they are heard. Diego is committed to advocating for change in BPS policy that is beneficial to his peers. His Indian and Salvadorean culture is important to him because it shapes his identity. He resides with his family in Jamaica Plain.
