These documents fulfill our fourth set of commitments related to Special Education and Multilingual Learners. Last week, we presented the Strategic Plan for Multilingual Learners to the School Committee, following community engagement in August and September. Looking forward, we will receive recommendations from the Council of Great City Schools regarding Special Education in November and will present the first quarterly update on Transformation Schools to the School Committee. The work ahead demands our focus and a coordinated approach in order to ensure the best possible experience for the students and families of the city of Boston.

• Present the BPS Strategic Plan for Multilingual Learners to the Boston School Committee as soon as possible during the 2022-2023 school year, but no later than October 12, 2022.
