HMS Instructional Focus:All educators across all academic disciplines will provide daily opportunities for students to compose ASL responses to standards-based curriculum and complex ASL texts, with particular attention to organization and precision of ASL vocabulary. Developing a solid foundation in ASL composition, while worthy in its own right, also supports the development of students' skills in English composition as they bridge across languages.
