SUMMER EARLY FOCUS
https://www.bpsearlylearning.org/summer-early-focus
The Summer Early Focus program builds on children's learning during the school year. It is highly engaging, and child-driven. Two BPS teachers support up to 20 students in each classroom with our Summer Early Focus curriculum. We will serve approximately 320 BPS students currently enrolled in Grades K1 to 2nd (80 students per site). Students will continue to engage in high quality instructional practices, take field trips and have structured and unstructured play opportunities.
Children will also have classes in dance, music, science, and physical education, have visitors who teach them about what they are learning in class (such as the New England Aquarium), and go on field trips such as the Franklin Park Zoo and Boston Children's Museum. Summer Early Focus will build your child’s skills in critical thinking, creativity, social awareness & relationships, teamwork and self-regulation - all while having fun!LOCATION:
