On the First Day of School

    All students report to school at 9:15 am. 

    On the first two days of school we will meet students in grades 1-5. Students in grade 1-2 will meet in the side yard and students in grades 3-5 will meet in the backyard. At dismissal, grades 1-3 will be released to the side yard.  Grades 4-5 will be released from the front door closest to the parking lot.

    Kindergarten students typically start 2 days after grades 1-5.  On their first day of school, all K1 students will meet their teachers outside in the side yard closest to the gymnasium.  K2 students will meet their teachers in the backyard for their first two days of school. Look for your child’s teacher’s name.

    After the first two days of school, all students in grades K1-3 will line-up in the side yard and enter the school through the side door at 9:15 and will go directly to their homeroom. 4th and 5th grade students enter at the front door closest to the parking lot and proceed to their homerooms. The 1st graders eat breakfast in the cafeteria. 2nd through 5th grades pick up their breakfast and then proceed to their classrooms to eat.  K1 and K2 teachers use their discretion whether to have the students eat breakfast in the cafeteria or in their classrooms.
