The Ruth Batson Academy 7-12 School is an open enrollment, 21st-Century, pilot school serving diverse students in an inclusive setting as they develop their capacity to become self-determined, independent learners to pursue their academic and personal aspirations. Our school offers a rigorous, college preparatory course of study that embeds a culturally and linguistically sustaining curriculum with a specific focus on leadership and social justice.
The Ruth Batson Academy 7-12 School provides:

- English Language Arts
- Integrated Math
- History
- Science
- Opportunities to enroll in:
- Six AP classes
- AP Literature
- AP Language
- AP Calculus
- AP Statistics
- AP Spanish
- AP Psychology
- Four levels of Spanish
- A range of English and Math elective courses that include:
- Teen Health Issues
- Economics
- Research and Activism for Change
- Discrete Mathematics
- Biomedical Science
- Engineering Physics
- We also have programs to support:
- English Learners
- Students with learning disabilities, including
- Students with Autism in the ABA Program
- Six AP classes
- Access to dual enrollment opportunities at Franklin Institute of Boston, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and UMass Boston.
