School Site Council

  • The Sumner School Site Council is a governing or advisory body that is comprised of equal members of parents and staff. The School Site Council includes representation from school administration, staff, parents, and the community. The Site Council meets once a month to review
 and
 approve
 school
 policy, 
including
 but
 not
 limited 
to: Parent Engagement Plan, Quality School Improvement Plan (QSIP), school budget, reviews curriculum, forms personnel subcommittees for hiring and decide on general school policies.

    Meetings have typically been held on the third Thursday of the month from 5:30-7 pm but have not yet been set for the 2019-2020 school year.  See the online school calendar for specific dates and times.
