    3Point Varsity Basketball/BPS Basketball

    (Students who participate in the 3 Point Program in the Fall and Spring are encouraged to participate in BPS' March Basketball League)

    For grades: 6th, 7th and 8th (co-ed)

    Program Days and Hours: Wednesdays and Fridays, 3pm-5:30pm

    Program Location: Rm 309 and Gym

    START DATE: 2/5/2020

    END DATE: TBD

    The 3Point Foundation uses project-based learning and basketball to foster the development of 21st century skills, social-emotional growth and a growth mindset- all of which are crucial to future success. Students participate in 1 hour of project-based classroom learning facilitated by UMass Boston students and 3Point staff. This is followed by 1 hour of basketball drills and skills. Basketball games against other 3 Point schools are held at local colleges on Sundays.
