    5th Grade ELA

    Mr. Lincoln

This is my 13Th year teaching and 10th year teaching in the Boston Public Schools. I previously served as the Humanities teacher at College Bound Middle School, a program serving over age Boston Public Middle School students. For many years I taught High School ELA at The English High School in Jamaica Plain. I hold an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and English Literature from Hofstra University as well as a M.A.T. from Northeastern University. I am very excited to begin my fourth year at The Martin Luther King Jr. K-8 school. This year I will again be teaching 5th grade ELA and am excited to be preparing our students for success in middle school and beyond. When not teaching I enjoy rooting for New England sports teams (especially the Patriots) and traveling. I have currently visited over 40 countries on 5 different continents.

    5th Grade Science

    Ms. Kerrigan

This will be my seventh year teaching at the King and I am very much looking forward to the coming year! I have filled many roles at the King. I have taught several subjects and all grades. Most recently I taught ELA in our 4th and 5th grades. This year I am very excited to teach science to our 5th graders. Working on Thompson Island for the past six summers has grown a love of science, and I am overjoyed to have an opportunity to engage in investigations and discoveries in my science classroom this year. In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, and going to the beach with my daughter Kirah.
