The Boston Public School (BPS) District, in partnership with LionBridge, offers telephonic (over-the-phone) interpretation services to schools and central office departments. This system makes it possible for over 350 languages to be available on-demand to support the communication of "Essential Information" to the parents and guardians of BPS students. By leveraging this telephonic interpreting service, the BPS district continues its ongoing efforts to improve communication and eliminate language barriers. 

This service is designed to assist central office and school-based staff in meeting the language communication needs of families.
