The Boston Public Library has many free science/engineering and art programs for children this summer including rocket-building, live animals, coding, lego clubs, and garden clubs. See the BPL program calendar.

Kids’ ART Club at the Adams Location (recommended for children ages 7 and up.)Boston University Coit ObservatoryTelescopes, binoculars, and even astronomers are on hand to inspire young scientists to cast their gaze skyward at Boston University’s free weekly Public Open Night. In the spring and summer, the hourlong sessions begin at 8:30. 617-353-2630Boston City Lights Performing ArtsFree performing art school: dance, music, theater, sound and film editing.
