    Visit your nearest Welcome Center. Bring parent photo identification and the required documents below:

     

    Next Steps

    If another language is spoken at home:

    • Your family may need to visit the Newcomer Assessment & Counseling Center for language testing.

     If your child has a disability:
    • Your school selections will be sent to the special education office for assignment.

     If your child is not an English Learner and does not have disabilities:
    • Your child will be assigned within a few days. Please call a Welcome Center a few days after your visit for an update. Starting in Summer 2017, your child will be assigned immediately to a school, based on current availability.


    Non-resident student tuition applications for any out of district vocational placement requests must be submitted by email or mail to the Executive Director of Career and Technical Education before April 1st for consideration for the upcoming fall. Students considering this option should contact the Office of Career and Technical Education for help with this process.

     

    For next school year (September 2018 - June 2019)


    Students Entering Grades K0, K1, 6, 7, or 9


    Assignments mailed for grades K0, K1, 6, 7, and 9 in late March
    Weds, January 3, 2018 – Fri, February 2, 2018
    Please note that assignments are not first-come, first-serve.

    All: January 29 - February 2
