BuildBPS will provide strategic framework for facilities investments, as well as curriculum and instruction reforms that are aligned with the district’s educational vision. BPS and the Mayor’s Education Cabinet are working with Symmes, Maini & McKee Associates (SMMA) to develop a comprehensive set of recommendations submitted to Mayor Walsh, Superintendent Tommy Chang, and Boston School Committee by the fall of 2016.

We are tackling areas of academics, operations, facilities, finance, and communications for sustainable improvement. Through an interactive exhibition hosted by staff and teachers, BPS will clarify how its projects and initiatives are working to solve persistent issues in school system and seek input on its vision for education in Boston.
