Programming

  • Large Learning Sessions: Whole or half-day conferences that include workshops covering a variety of topics of interest to parents. 

    Parent Essentials Program: A 10 session/20 hour program designed to build parent capacity to support the district (through district or school level governance structures) in its mission to meet the needs of all learners. 

    Family Education Classes: Classes taught by the Parent University Family Education staff or BPS teachers.  Family education classes offer parents the opportunity to learn and practice the skills they need to support their children’s learning.

    Satellite Classes:  One-shot workshops or a short series course held in schools or community sites. Classes can also be requested by schools or community based organizations.
