WRA Raider News is West Roxbury Academy’s student-run newspaper. The publication is written, designed, and published by students for students with the support of Northeastern's University Scholars Program. WRA Raider News is always looking for students to write, illustrate, design, and publicize. In 2015-2016, WRA Raider news will publish the first week in November, the second week in January, the second week in March, and the third week in May. Please email GoRaiderNews@gmail.com or see Ms. McCarthy in room 429 to contribute to the newspaper. We meet every Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. in room 429 (pizza is available). WRA Raider News is sponsored by Northeastern's University Scholars Program. Students in the program receive a full-tuition scholarship for undergraduate study. Scholars Aneri Pattani, Prasanna Rajasekaran, and Allison Traylor designed the Huskies for Journalism program to bring journalism to Boston Public Schools. The team selected West Roxbury Academy as the program’s focus school for 2015-2016.The program is grant-funded byNortheastern’s University Scholars Program.
