Events and Community Engagement
Together, we are re-imagining and renewing Boston’s public school infrastructure to provide a brighter future for students in every neighborhood.
The BuildBPS Management Team presented an update about the initiative at the BPS Fall Open House on Saturday, October 28. Download the slide deck.
During the months of May and June, the City of Boston and Boston Public Schools hosted a series of BuildBPS Neighborhood Workshops across the city. At these interactive sessions, teams of parents, students, staff, and other stakeholders brainstormed investment opportunities in school buildings, using data and priorities from the 10-year educational and facilities master plan. These workshops were designed to generate ideas for repair, renovation, expansion, and building projects to create state-of-the-art school facilities.
