  • The EAP is a free benefit offered to all City of Boston employees and their families. The EAP mission statement is to promote, establish and increase good health and a quality work and personal experience. Its goal is to work in collaboration with employees to restore or initiate wellness in work and life.

    The EAP's staff members are mental health professionals who are trained to listen, counsel, and refer employees and their family members to appropriate services if necessary. Confidentiality is of paramount importance, and no one at BPS can gain access to a person's EAP records without his or her written permission.
