BPS is strengthening curriculum and instruction across the board to ensure mastery of the new Common Core standards and updated Massachusetts Curriculum Framework, which will prepare all students for college and career success in the 21st century economy. As we do, the State of Massachusetts is exploring a new assessment test -- the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) -- that is aligned to these more rigorous curriculum standards.
