  • Governor Baker issues a two week stay at home advisory and extends school closure until May 4.

    On March 25, Governor Baker extented his emergency order extending the closure of all schools in the Commonwealth until May 4. Mayor Walsh has now extended the closure of the Boston Public Schools until May 4, 2020.  On Monday, March 23, Governor Baker issued an emergency order requiring all employers that do not provide “COVID-19 Essential Services” to close their physical workplaces and facilities to workers, customers, and the public from Tuesday, March 24, at 12 p.m. (noon) until Tuesday, April 7 at noon. The Order also limits gatherings to 10 people during the state of emergency, a reduction from the 25-person limit established in an earlier order.

  • Boston Public Schools Chromebook and Internet Access updates

    Boston Public Schools will continue to work to get chromebooks and internet service to students who need access. They have also created a form for you to use if your current chromebooks is broken or has an issue. Please visit bostonpublicschools.org/laptop for links to the forms and information.

  • Comcast Provides Free Internet Service for Two Months

    Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, Comcast is offering 2 months free to new Internet Essentials customers in response to recent and anticipated emergency measures associated with the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
