Carlos Rojas

Student Representative

Carlos Rojas is a senior at Boston Latin School. Born in Medellin, Colombia, Carlos has made Boston his home since the age of five. In addition to serving as the East Boston Representative on the Mayor's Youth Council, Carlos is an active and proud member of the Boston Students Advisory Council (BSAC), which he considers a second home. At school, he serves as a News Editor for the Argo, the school's newspaper, Vice-President and Treasurer of Boston Latin School's chapter of Invisible Children, an international organization devoted to aiding the victims of the ongoing civil war in Uganda, and plays cello in the school's Concert String Orchestra. He also enjoys theater, and has worked extensively with the Boston Latin School's theater company, in addition to the Wheelock Family Theatre, the Zeitgeist Stage Company, the Actor's Shakespeare Project and other theaters in the greater Boston area.
