  • College access courses: Students demonstrate their commitment to learning, habits of mind, and essential skills through portfolio presentations three times per year

  • Annual Black College Tour
  • Electives such as Cracking the SAT, journalism, MCAS prep, and writing seminar that provide opportunities to develop math and writing skills
  • Full inclusion model for students with disabilities
  • After school Homework Academy, offering one-on-one help with teachers and tutors

  • College courses offered through Benjamin Franklin Institute, Mass. College of Art & Design, Roxbury Community College, Emmanuel College and Wheelock College
  • Additional school partners: 826 Boston, Boston University Afterschool, Brigham and Women’s Hospital YSSP Program, Harvard University Risk Prevention Program, Northeastern University, Peer Health Exchange, and Upward Bound.
