Safe Routes to School Boston is a city-wide effort to promote walking to school and to support and rally neighborhoods and the community as a whole to work toward making walking to school safe, popular, and fun. It is part of the national Safe Routes to School initiative to increase safety and promote walking and biking to school. Boston is one of dozens of cities and states across the country to adopt the program, tailored to the needs of our own community. Find out what BPS is doing here.
